Athens International Film and Video Festival

The 34th annual Athens International Film and Video Festival kicked off over the weekend.

The festival features 23 feature films to be shown through the week. Additionally, 133 other films will compete for $9,000 in prize money. The films will be screened in 30 public showings through the week at the Athena Cinema in uptown Athens, the Athena Grand on East State Street and Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville.
